Welding and Fabrication Instructor
Immediate full-time position for the 2019-20 school year. Position requires 4 years of wage earning experience in the welding field, to include 8000+ documented hours over the past 10 years. Individual must have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate high school students. Successful candidate must complete PDE required college course work & certification process, if not already certified. Clearances for Acts 34, 151 and 114 will be required prior to hire. The Clarion County Career Center is seeking candidates for Director of Career and Technical Education. A thorough understanding of secondary CTE and adult workforce training is necessary. Candidates must be able to manage all aspects of the CTC including budget, state and federal reports, grant writing and oversight, staff evaluations, student discipline, program marketing and development, capital projects and facility management. Individual with a valid PA Vocational Administrative Director certification, Superintendent Letter of Eligibility or Principal certification may apply. Principals may apply for Vocational Director Add-on certification. Salary - commensurate with experience up to $95,000. Technical areas include Allied Health, Culinary, Cosmetology, Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, Welding, Computer Networking, Police Science, and Construction Trades. Minimum requirements include a bachelors degree OR 3 years of experience within those industries.
