Program Information:  

Police Science prepares students for a variety of exciting careers in public safety. Law Enforcement and Private Security is covered the first year. The second year is primarily focused on students obtaining their emergency dispatch certifications.  The third year students learn and prepare for their Emergency Medical Responder certification through the Pennsylvania Department of Health.  Physical fitness and self-discipline is highly stressed. Students are taught common police investigative techniques, private security concepts, emergency dispatch procedures, advanced emergency medical skills and the criminal justice system.
